DJ Shim and Naman are currently working on separate projects. There was hint of a split and the beginnings of major legal wranglings with DLC. The problems are now, thankfully sorted. They are keen to finish their separate projects, and then begin working together once more. From what DJ Shim and Naman have submitted, the solo ventures sound very different in style and production. Indeed, we are seeing the two isolated elements that together made the ALH sound so fresh and cool-funky; now disconnected and yet obviously the building blocks of the ALH sound and production ethos.

DJ Shim has enlisted the portentous talent that is Infidel, a member of the DLC ranks. Notoriously difficult to work with, Infidel, who appeared on the Chris and Dave Radio Show, stated that "...working with DJ Shim was difficult, yet truely inspiring.....". Make of that what you will! The results are sounding good, very good. Vaguely industrial....

Naman has worked with one member of The Majnoons. We are not sure who. He has padlocked himself away in the Majnoon studio and along with 'X' of the 'Noons is creating a smooth, slo-funk soundscape. As expected, the submissions have been very good.

When will the highly influential DJ Shim and Naman complete their autonomous masterpieces and begin work on a highly anticipated 2nd ALH album? We are not sure, but rest assured we will be following events and keeping everyone notified..............
